and I’m back…

It’s been quite some time since I had a chance to update second story view. When I started this blog I made an earnest effort to update daily – and this lasted months! I recently got a brand new job (that I absolutely adore!) which is why I have been absent as of late… It has been a whirlwind of inspiration and hard work; I couldn’t be happier.

However – I am here to announce that I am making the commitment to update daily once again. I hope this excites you, because it certainly excites me! See you all tomorrow!

fruit stickers and tea tags

I love images of collections such as these. There is something so appealing about a variety of “things” be it fruit stickers or tea tags. Somehow, when presented in a group they become art. Instantly!

bold face type

i love receiving and sending cards. especially good ones. we are all guilty of taking the easy way out to communicate with friends and loved ones, using email, facebook, texts, to communicate; even about the important things in life like birthdays or holidays. these cards by bold face type, will make you think twice before doing so, because they look great, are incredibly honest and pretty hilarious all at the same time.

new york in legos

Christoph Niemann is an amazing illustrator whose works have appeared on the covers of The New Yorker, Wired, The New York Times Magazine and American Illustration. He is the force behind Abstract City – a New York Times blog (and a personal favorite) so I was delighted to come across his new book I LEGO N.Y. a playful homage to New York City constructed entirely out of LEGOs.
