cheap and chic

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these modernist bowls by West Elm. I am a huge fan of mismatched dinnerware, but it can be quite pricey to get this look quite this right. Fear not, these are just $8 a pop, which mean the time might be right to get this collection started…

take a seat

I’ve always admired Jonathan Adler’s bold colors and design…
(I even have one of his couch and chair sets in my bedroom!) The above
chairs have got me all sorts of giddy – these jewel tones are some of my
favorite for the fall and I can’t really think of a space that wouldn’t be
instantly improved with an accent seat like such…

jewel tones

After spotting these beauts on the anthropologie website, I can officially say I now have a fall wish list.

starbursts and lattice

I recently got myself some new sheets but absolutely wish I had seen these before purchasing! I am a huge fan of both the lattice and starburst print although I would have to say I favor the lattice – especially the yellow and gray. These are truly perfect for spring!

source of inspiration

I love these decor photographs of by Mark Lund. They are absolutely exquisite. I am also quite a fan of the styling in each space. Amazing uses of color, textiles, accent furniture and tasteful accessories. These beauties are inspiring!

a touch of toile

Some may say toile is old fashioned or belongs in a country home – but I think otherwise… Working Class Studio has released a collection of brightly colored toile accessories (pillows, aprons, kitchen towels, oven mitts and pot holders included) – bringing a modern touch to a traditional pattern. Lovely!

slip covers

Lisa Bengtsson is an incredible designer of textiles, wallpaper, china and much more.  I am absolutely obsessed with these slipcovers that she created in collaboration with Bemz. I love the bright colors, the whimsical flowers, and the combo of plaid and graphic print. LOVE!!
